Nature,
reimagined.
A premium acrylic spa wrapped in Immersa’s sculptural fiberglass tree-trunk shroud—turning proven spa hardware into an object designed to belong in the landscape.
Steam over a rain-filled sequoia stump.
“I wanted the hot water — not the appliance sitting in the yard.”
On a cold, wet day in Sequoia National Park, I came across a cut tree stump whose center had slowly rotted away. Rain had darkened the bark, the outer edges had worn smooth, and water had collected inside the hollow.
In the cold air, steam was lifting from the pooled water. For a moment it looked less like a stump and more like a natural soaking vessel. That image clicked immediately.
I love the restorative feeling of hot water outdoors, but so many hot tubs look like modern appliances dropped into a backyard. The Giving Tree came from wanting the opposite: keep the comfort, jets and soothing water, but let the object feel as though it belongs to the landscape.
The first Giving Tree is being planned for my own ranch — a place where it can be lived with the way it was imagined: outdoors, surrounded by land, part of the setting rather than something imposed on it.

Real hardware. Sculptural exterior.
The underlying spa system uses a 1830 mm round acrylic shell with integrated seating, hydrotherapy jets, air injection, lighting and electronic controls. Immersa’s shroud is designed around that working system rather than replacing it.

Everything in one page.
The Giving Tree brochure combines the design story, the inner spa system, dimensions and core technical specifications into a simple project overview for homeowners, designers, dealers and hospitality partners.
